On Your Screen!

Well we are back and better than ever!

The topic for this weeks link-up was

All Time Favourite Movie

which we know is a tough one, but we wanted to get the ball rolling! You can tell a lot about a person by their favourite movies...

I have to say, as a Screen and Media major I watch a lot of movies. Like A LOT. So picking my all time favourite one was extremely difficult. But the movie I chose is hilarious. I have seen it about 100 times. My sister and I can quote the entire thing, including the songs. And It has Jack Black in it...

Seriously. Funniest film of my life. I could quote this in my sleep. For reals. I made my flat mates (and Abby) watch this a while ago and had to include a warning at the start that I would be speaking along with it. There is just so much right with this movie. It is well written, well acted (for the most part- keep in mind the kids are like 13 and are musicians not actors) and the music is fantastic.

And actually the kids not being actors is one of the things I really like about it. They actually play that well. Like holy crap! Zach is like 12 and plays guitar waaaay better than I ever will! Jealous much?
And when I first watched it I thought this kid was super hot. I definitely had a crush on him at the time...

Anyways, if you haven't seen this movie then shame on you! Just kidding, but really... go watch it, I'll wait.

On Your Screen is Back!!

Hey guys, Its been a while since Abby and I posted an On Your Screen link-up, things have got crazy at Uni and we simply did not have time to remember to do it every week.

Sunday Confessions

I can't believe its Sunday already. This weekend has gone so fast its ridiculous. I had a blast last night at my friends 21st, watching my cities team win the Super 15 Rugby final GO THE CHIEFS, and catching up with friends. Now its Sunday and I have to head back to Uni tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. Although my huge assignment is basically finished now so thats a relief.

So, my Sunday confessions...

1. I borrowed fancy camera off the Uni again for my assignment and instead I spent the weekend taking photos of my cat. Its not my fault she's so cute!

2. Its only Week 3 back at Uni and I'm already sick of it. I'm busier and more stressed than I have ever been and I'm ready to graduate already!

3. I can cook a delicious omelet but I cannot flip them at all. Oops.

4. I am on the hunt for a new dress (even though I have no money). Its 21st season and I need a new one! Any suggestions of cheap online clothes stores?

5. Its been raining all weekend and I am loving it! I complain about it during the day but as soon as its the weekend, I welcome the rain. I have been inside all day watching Lost and listening to the sound of the rain on the roof.

Tomorrow I'm back into Uni and all the business that comes with it. Although I am going to see Magic Mike on Wednesday BOO YAH, I think sexy shirtless guys is a fantastic way to take a break from assignments...
